For me - I love words and stories. I think they can be so powerful when it comes down to our perceptions of the world and how we view ourselves within it.

Art can be found everywhere. Personally, I love graffiti. There are many colours and stories painted on brick walls, using unique textures. Each one is different from the next.

If you are looking for motivation, a quote could be more your speed. Amazing words have been said that not only change our world, but our perception. Look at influential figures - your role models - for guidance and statements that make you think. Grab hold of what inspires you to do something. To do more. You will feel the need to fulfill whatever it is that is required of you.

MUSIC

Music resonates at a more soulful level - depending on your choice of genre. I stick to more indie and alternative rock. The speed and tones of each song really stick with me. I play them over and over until something clicks. Then a scene for one of my book's begins. Music not only drives my inspiration. It unlocks my creativity.

CONVERSATION

Good conversation can lead to new ideas and creative thinking. Someone else's thought could spark a new concept. Regular influences and people you socialize with can contribute to your creative well-being. You just have to be open to it.

New views and perspectives lead to a widening mind. Even conversations you are not part of, but listen to while commuting or wherever, can provide the same end result.
